Product Usage Policy and Terms
Mars Roaster provides this Product Usage Policy and Terms to help customers clearly understand how to use, operate, maintain, and manage products safely, effectively, and for the correct purposes.
Mars Roaster products include coffee roasters, destoners, mixers, grinders, smoke treatment systems, storage silos, feeding systems, and automated coffee roasting lines. Depending on each product configuration, customers will receive usage, operation, and maintenance guidance suitable for the actual installation conditions.
By purchasing, receiving, installing, or using Mars Roaster products, customers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with the product usage terms stated in this policy, as well as the specific terms in the contract, quotation, or technical documents provided with the product.
1. Purpose of Product Use
Mars Roaster products are designed for coffee roasting, coffee processing, and professional coffee production for cafés, roasteries, coffee chains, production businesses, and coffee factories.
Customers must use the products according to their intended function, recommended capacity, and technical guidance provided by Mars Roaster. Misuse, overloading, unauthorized structural modification, or operation under unsuitable conditions may affect product performance, durability, and safety.
2. Installation and Operating Conditions
Before putting the product into operation, customers must prepare the installation area, power supply, gas supply, ventilation system, smoke exhaust line, operating space, and other technical conditions according to Mars Roaster’s guidance.
For large-capacity systems or automated production lines, customers must ensure that the installation area has sufficient space for operation, cleaning, maintenance, and periodic technical inspection.
Mars Roaster may advise or require customers to adjust certain installation conditions if the operating area does not meet technical requirements or may affect equipment safety.
3. Operator Responsibilities
Operators should receive basic instruction or training before using the machine. During operation, users must follow the user manual, safety procedures, and technical recommendations from Mars Roaster.
Operators should not interfere with electrical systems, gas systems, control systems, sensors, motors, software, or technical components without guidance from Mars Roaster or qualified technical personnel.
If the equipment shows abnormal signs such as unusual noise, gas odor, abnormal smoke, unstable temperature, system alerts, or incorrect operation, customers should stop operation temporarily and contact Mars Roaster for support.
4. Product Maintenance and Cleaning
To ensure stable operation and product durability, customers must perform cleaning, inspection, and periodic maintenance according to Mars Roaster’s guidance.
Components such as the roasting drum, cooling tray, cyclone, pipelines, exhaust fan, smoke treatment system, destoner, mixer, grinder, and feeding area should be inspected and cleaned according to the actual frequency of use.
Failure to clean or maintain the equipment periodically may reduce equipment performance, affect coffee quality, increase the risk of malfunction, and may affect warranty conditions.
5. Safety Regulations
Customers must ensure that the machine operating area is clean, well-ventilated, and free from flammable materials near heat sources, burners, gas lines, or hot air discharge areas.
Do not operate the equipment without checking basic safety conditions such as electricity, gas, ventilation, smoke exhaust, and equipment status.
Do not allow untrained personnel to operate the machine alone. Do not disassemble, reconnect, or modify any parts related to electricity, gas, safety sensors, or control systems without proper guidance.
For equipment using heat, gas, high-power electricity, or automated systems, customers must strictly follow safety instructions to protect personnel, equipment, and the production area.
6. Product Modification, Repair, and Upgrade
Customers should not modify the product structure, components, control software, gas system, electrical system, or technical parts without approval or guidance from Mars Roaster.
If customers need to upgrade capacity, expand the system, add auxiliary equipment, or change the production line configuration, Mars Roaster will provide a suitable solution based on the equipment condition and actual production needs.
Repairs, replacements, or upgrades not performed by Mars Roaster or a party confirmed by Mars Roaster may affect product performance, safety, and warranty policy.
7. Warranty and Technical Support
Product warranty policy is applied according to each machine model, equipment configuration, and the terms stated in the contract, quotation, or warranty document.
Mars Roaster supports customers during product use through official contact channels. Depending on the equipment condition, Mars Roaster may provide remote consultation, initial inspection guidance, or arrange technical personnel for support according to the agreed terms.
Cases involving improper use, incorrect operation, unauthorized repair, component replacement, lack of periodic maintenance, or installation under unsuitable conditions may not be covered under warranty.
8. Documents, Images, and Technical Information
User manuals, product images, technical specifications, drawings, software, control interfaces, and training materials provided by Mars Roaster may only be used for operating, maintaining, and managing the customer’s equipment.
Customers may not copy, modify, redistribute, publish, or use Mars Roaster’s technical documents for other commercial purposes without written approval from Mars Roaster.
9. Customer Responsibilities When Using Products
Customers are responsible for using the products according to the provided guidance, properly maintaining the equipment, assigning operators with basic operating knowledge, and promptly notifying Mars Roaster when any issue or support request arises.
Customers must ensure that the operating conditions at their facility meet safety requirements, including electricity, gas, ventilation, fire safety, production environment, and relevant local regulations.
10. Changes to Product Usage Policy and Terms
Mars Roaster may update or adjust this Product Usage Policy and Terms from time to time to reflect product updates, technology changes, operating procedures, and actual requirements.
If the content on the website differs from the terms in the contract, quotation, appendix, or technical documents officially agreed upon between Mars Roaster and the customer, the terms in the signed contract or official agreement documents shall prevail.
